Only classics shall do for now.
Although I had amassed a modest number of novels and plays in recent months, the only book I did manage to read was The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.

To read; in order of present preference for my own reference:
  1. The Importance of Being Earnest - Oscar Wilde
  2. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland - Lewis Carroll
  3. Through the Looking Glass - Lewis Carroll
  4. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - Arthur Conan Doyle
  5. 1984 - George Orwell
  6. Lolita - Vladimir Nabokov
  7. Lady Windermere's Fan - Oscar Wilde
  8. A Woman of No Importance - Oscar Wilde
  9. The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde - Robert Louis Stevenson
  10. The Hound of Baskervilles - Arthur Conan Doyle
  11. Robinson Crusoe - Daniel Defoe
  12. Persuasion - Jane Austen
  13. A Tale of Two Cities - Charles Dickens
  14. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn - Mark Twain
  15. Wuthering Heights - Emily Brontë
